Kerreen    Kerreen Reiger is an Australian oral historian and sociologist who has studied the international
   birth reform movement and resulting changes in maternity care cultures and professional practices.

IB pic    Ivy Lynn Bourgeault is a medical sociologist and scholar of the health professions who has
   researched and written extensively on Canadian health care, maternity care in particular.

Alex pic    Alex Jadad brings a strong background in evidence-based medicine and dissemination of
   knowledge,and has worked closely with Professor Enkin since the mid-1990s.

The team collaborates on themes and organising of the material, with Professor Reiger responsible for archival research and preparing family background and early life, Professor Bourgeault the middle section on maternity care reform, and Professor Jadad the last part of the book covering the challenges of Enkin's professional work in recent decades.
